Excellent Testimonial

Great job team in receiving this glowing testimonial !

Mr. Swartz,

I wanted to let you know about the great service I have received from your Spitzer dealership in Parma, Ohio.  In January of 2011 we purchased a 2011 Ram 1500 quad cab outdoorsman from a dealership about 60 miles away because they had the truck we wanted at a very good price. This truck was to replace our '05 quad cab that was underpowered for towing our new larger travel trailer. I soon learned that there's more to a dealership than a pretty price. After dealing with several issues concerning items owed and several wasted trips to get these items I began to fell that they really didn't care after the sale was made.  When I received a recall notice in April regarding the rear end cover replacement I knew I had to find a better closer dealer for service. When I found out that your store had reopened I called to make an appointment . When I explained to Sherri that I did not purchase my truck from Spitzer and that I wanted to find a better dealership that I could have a long term relationship with she replied" we want to be that dealer"  Prior to my April 12 appointment I checked with Rick in parts to make sure the parts were there and a couple of part related questions. On the day of my appointment check in with Sherri was very smooth and got a ride to work from John. After having the recall work done and a self installed OEM trailer brake control flashed to my truck they told me that if I paid by credit card they would just deliver my truck to me at work. A great job done by all and my coworkers were quite impressed when my freshly washed truck was delivered to me.

I was very impressed with that experience  and called Mitch to express my thanks. But what they have done for me over the last few days was outstanding, on tue June 7 while driving to work my check engine light came on and the truck began to run very roughly and I barely limped the last mile into work. I called service and talked to Sylvia and told her about my problem and she directed me to call Chrysler to set up the tow, which I did. After it had been diagnosed as a pretty major engine electrical issue she arranged for a rental car for me. On wed it was determined than parts needed to be ordered. I again dealt with Rick who kept me updated on the whereabouts of the parts and their ETA. On Thursday I started to get nervous because the parts weren't due in until Fri at noon. Any other time this would not have been a problem but starting at 3pm on Fri we were due to start vacation, a 2 week vacation the entirely revolved around the truck and towing. It was to begin on sat morning by taking 4 adults and a moving trailer to Athens Oh to see my son graduate college and return with 5 adults and his apartment full of furniture. Then next week we are hauling our travel trailer to North Carolina for a family reunion with relatives from Fla.,NC.,SC OH and Alaska. Mitch tried to reassure me to let him do the worrying and that he wouldn't let me down.On Fri at noon Rick told me that the parts were in and Bruce was working on the truck. At 2pm I called to check on the status and was told that the computer did not solve the problem that there was some type of wiring issue.Upon my arrival after 3 I observed a flurry of activity, Bruce and 32 other mechanics working on my truck and Mitch keeping me updated. And finally they did it, the found that there were several shorts in a wiring harness and quickly and expertly repaired them and Sylvia arranged it so the rental car agency would pick up the car so I could get over to pick up the moving trailer. I got to thank all of them personally and one of the mechanics told me that they heard about my vacation situation and really wanted to get the truck fixed so we could get on our way. I'm sorry if this has been a long read but I really wanted you to know how great your employees are,and the Spitzer company should be proud of how dedicated and caring they are. Once again Thank You Mitch, Sylvia,Sherri, John, Rick, Bruce ant the 2 other techs that helped fix my truck and save our vacation.  Feel free to post this letter and please pass it up the corporate ladder so others can see what a great team you have there, and how their dedication and great service really do make a difference.  Thank You

Paul Schuerger
