I was 24 and getting ready to buy my first car; I was going to buy it, which is different from my father buying it and giving me the keys. I had a budget in mind, focused around low monthly payments and reliability. I was working full time and recently out of school but I did have goal of ultimately getting my own place and paying down as much as I could. I wrestled around the idea of financing a used car with a lower balance and higher interest rate or a new car with a higher balance and lower interest rate. I weighed my options and discussed them with the staff at Spitzer Motor City in Cleveland, Ohio. We looked at used cars as I had always driven imports. There were such great incentives, however, that the Sales Manager said, "Would you like to drive a new car for the same price?" I almost didn't believe him. I calmly called my parents and explained that I could lease a brand new 2011 Chrysler 200 Touring with the upgraded radio including SiriusXM and a sunroof. My parents came in and with the help of the staff, realized that leasing wouldn't be a bad idea for me. Leasing gave me a new car, which means a Chrysler bumper-to-bumper 3 year/36,000 mi warranty. Talk about peace of mind! I spoke with the service manager and he assured me that the Chrysler 200 wasn't a car that was always in for service.
Many people see the Chrysler 200 as a renamed Chrysler Sebring. Truth is, there were so many changes that Chrysler basically had to rename it! Chrysler brand CEO Olivier Francois said the only things Chrysler didn't change was the roof and the door. I LOVE MY NEW CAR! She has LED lights, an awesome radio, an elegant interior, automatic A/C temperature controls, an 8-way power driver seat, functional space, a fun sunroof, nice wheels (17-Inch Aluminum), a roomy trunk and an attractive exterior. The Chrysler 200 is an entry level luxury car and I feel luxurious every time I get in. The drive is smooth; I almost forget I'm the one controlling her! One of my favorite things about my 200 is the gas mileage. She gets up to 31mpg on the highway and does really well in the city! I can say that Chrysler WON me over; I am a firm believer in the quality of the new 200. My 200 is a fun drive, I can't wait to see where we'll explore this summer!
Look at how excited Chrysler CEO Olivier Francois is about it, too
