Chrysler Group LLC Manufacturing Employees Focus on Home Improvement for Community Action Day, Saturday, July 23

More Than 100 Chrysler Group Volunteers Gather to Paint, Garden, Landscape and Complete Repairs at The Baldwin Center in Pontiac, Mich.

July 19, 2011 , Pontiac, Mich. - Chrysler Group LLC is partnering with the United Way for Southeastern Michigan to assist with painting, gardening, repairing and expanding a porch, playground maintenance and landscaping activities Saturday, July 23 at The Baldwin Center, a nonprofit organization which provides clothing, food and support services for homeless and needy individuals in Pontiac, Michigan.

What:

  • More than 100 Chrysler Group Manufacturing employees will assist with a variety of home improvements during Chrysler Group Community Action Day.
  • Chrysler Group's Community Action Day highlights the importance of employee volunteerism – people giving their time and effort to help their neighbors.
  • This is the fourth in a series of high-impact community service projects Chrysler Group employees have participated in since October 2010.
  • Photo and interview opportunities available. Opportunity for broadcast television outlets looking for community and/or weather-related material.
